Very light white color, sometimes there are greenish tints. Closed grain wood, despite this, it requires a lot of work to finish. Transparent finishes are not suitable for linden. It is a relatively soft wood and is not very resistant to mechanical damage. Sonically, it has a warm character with an exposed midrange. It cuts through the mix very well.
