Fun talks about the child

Fun talks about the child.

Four-year-old Monika's games are extremely interesting. She has countless ideas and implements them together with her younger brother. Her house play, in the shop, in the hospital, where she had never been, but he knows his father-doctor well from his stories, they are full of authenticity. The girl spends a lot of time building with blocks, playing a puzzle-tapping game, colorful mosaic. He paints with passion. However, he clearly avoids physical games. She doesn't care about the ball. He can't run that fast, like other kids, grabs a couch or chair, when he wants to jump up with both legs. He enjoys playing in the sandbox in the backyard, but he doesn't like slides, avoids interlacing and dragonflies.

Mark is very efficient. He runs faster than other children. You can't drag him away from the slide. He doesn't like and can't play with blocks. Like a very small child, they make only a long train and then push it along the floor, while making sounds in an amazing way imitating the sounds of a locomotive. For his fifth birthday, his father brought him a small mechanic from abroad, consisting of colored metal plates of various sizes and shapes with drilled holes and screws of the right size. The boy was interested in arranging and segregating the individual elements of the toy, but he didn't even try to assemble any of them. So the parents said, that it is still too difficult for him and they hid it. But a few months later, the situation has not changed. Marek again sorted only the individual parts. So the father, in the presence of his son, began assembling the wagons according to the attached patterns, vehicles and cranes. Mark watched intently, enjoyed every model made, he was playing with it, but didn't try to install anything myself. No wonder, anyway, that he was not eager to tighten the screws. An almost six-year-old boy could not dress himself, fasten the button. His parents always helped him in all these activities. And they weren't even concerned about their son's low fitness. they were careful, that these manipulations are too difficult and complicated for him.

When Mark went to school, for a long time he could not master the difficult art of writing and reading. After thorough psychological research, it turned out, that delays in manual dexterity are caused by impaired visual function. Mark could not distinguish certain shapes and directions. Thanks to the hard and long-lasting work of the psychologist and the parents, the child's development was slowly balanced out. But before that happened, Mark was one of the worst students in the class, who are always ugly, carelessly kept notebooks, which no drawing succeeds, who do not know in practical classes, how to go about the simplest work. In the older classes, the boy had many difficulties in mastering geometry.

Besides, Marek had problems not only with his studies. Colleagues did not accept him for his dependence, they made fun of, that he can't dress himself, that he needs to tie a scarf, button up your coat like a little baby. They teased him the most after PE lessons. The boy was the last to leave, and always in a poorly buttoned shirt, back to front of the sweater you put on. Even the fact, that Marek could jump further than his colleagues, that he was not defeated in the races, failed to improve his position in the class.

Also, Monika only started working on compensating for developmental delays at school. Thanks to the rhythm classes, By the end of her primary school education, thanks to additional PE exercises, she was able to match the fitness of her friends at the end of her primary school education.

Many children develop unevenly. Some functions remain normal, and sometimes even exceed it, others develop a little worse. This is not a cause for concern or panic, but a child's apparent reluctance to do certain activities and lack of achievement in some area should be of concern to parents.
